## Description

This Hotel is named after Don Bernardino de Meneses Bracamonte y Zapata (1625 – January 30, 1656), Count of Peñalba, a Spanish nobleman who was governor of the island in 1655, year in which he defeated the British who wanted to invade the island. Today, El Conde Street is named in his honor. This street is a pedestrian street with lots of commercial activity, traditionally a street with a lot of history. The main gate of the wall surrounding the old colonial city is named El Conde Gate also in his honor.

It is located in the best spot of the city, near by museums, other restaurants and bars, and sightseeing worthy parks. Overlooking Columbus Park and the Basilica Cathedral of Santa María la Menor, our relaxed hotel in an elegant Spanish Colonial-style building, is a 4-minute walk from the Museo de las Casas Reales and a 12-minute walk from a bus stop. 

This artwork is part of my Painterly series, which consists on making a photograph and then turned it into a Digitally painted piece of Art.

I make this happening using several techniques in post processing.
