## Description

A brain contusion is much like a head injury concussion. But with a contusion, it infers the brain was bruised to some degree. The after-math of a car accident when one's been side-impacted by a driver who drove through a red light or stop sign at around 40 m/p/h,  can cause extensive damage to the victim's car & likely serious injury. I was lucky when I was struck on my driver's side, to be driving in our new VW Jetta, one of the safest cars. That impact caused my car to do a 360, & I revolved as well & stop suddenly on the curb. I was in shock & our VW was totaled; towed away.                                                                                                      
That accident was January, 2013.. I received a bruised brain & cervical spondylosis. I was lucky though. For the next 5 or so months, I had memory issues, couldn't multi-task, thus not able to teach for awhile. I am grateful that I didn't have a long lasting serious injuries.
