## Description

Temptation is an enticement to engage in a short-term urge for enjoyment and pleasure. The concept of temptation typically involves coaxing or inducing a person into compliance by erotically stimulating carnal desire, arousal and curiosity that often escalates toward a level the recipient’s libido simply cannot resist. However, research suggests that there can be short-term paradoxical effects associated with temptation though a feverish lure of the moment typically procures acquiescence. Implicit in all the forms in which temptation might present itself, there are usually a set of parameters invoked by the temptress that do not facilitate resistance.
