From my Tribal Wild Collection of nude body-painted models photographed in my Bangkok studio.

“Usiguse” is a Swahili word roughly translating as “don’t touch it.” This is one of Hungary’s top models, the incomparable Dorka Banki. Need I say more about her response when I asked if I could participate in her body painting. Ruling the day was one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious stylists and body painters, Hilde Marie Johansen from Norway. I acquired the giant metal earrings at an art shop in the Unesco heritage town of Luang Prabang, Laos, which for this shoot were tied to a rope strung with dried cinnamon quills I had purchased at the famous and humongous Chatuchak Weekend Market on the outskirts of Bangkok on a very hot day. But back in the studio it was cool though Dorka did command the night by choosing to steam up the atmosphere.
