## Description

In tribal alien cultures that exist in faraway galaxies, the duality of one’s eye color connotes unbiased wisdom. One can view reality as it exists while at the same time striving to transcend narrow limits of understanding. This youthful black Buddha’s name is Uwili, which when translated with galactic Swahili tribal overtones, literally means “two” but alludes to his innate ability to grasp the dual nature of all things. While many view life as it is seen, Uwili always considers alternative viewpoints based on the unique perspectives of those he encounters. He sees everyone as a potential Buddha, each possessing unique qualities and possibilities to offer the world. As the 13th-century Buddha Nichiren Daishonin stated, "Cherry, plum, peach and damson blossoms all have their own qualities, and they manifest the three properties of the life of the Buddha without changing their character.” Uwili’s youth does not limit his wisdom.
