## Description

There will come a time when we will all die. We all. There will be no humans left to remember that our species ever existed. No one will be left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra.

All that we have done and created and written and thought and explored will all be forgotten and it will all come to nothingness. That time may be coming soon and maybe millions of years away, but even if we survived the fall of our Sun, we still wouldn't survive forever.

There was a time before beings experienced consciousness, and there will be a time after that. And if the inevitability of human oblivion worries you, I encourage you to ignore it. God knows that's what everyone does.

If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most likely explanation is that we are made for another world.
