## Description

"Dnipro" is inspired by Ukraine's river of the same name.

The river splits Ukraine in two while unifying it north to south. In times of peace, it irrigates the land and fuels the economy. In times of war, it splits armies and families. Its destroyed bridges twist out of the earth as abstract barriers, while the once prosperous and peaceful cities that grace its banks are hollowed out into abstraction yet painfully visceral charcoal. Created with the same spirit and objective as my current work called War + Peace (www.umagaart.online), dedicated to the children of Ukraine, where I try to convey my love for the art and creative expression, as well as the importance I place on the lives, safety and well-being of children.

I'm Rose Cameron, mother, artist, philanthropist and business woman. I believe in the power of art to positively impact change and promote important causes. I founded Taking Back The Streets, a non-profit campaign, supporting the advancement of street art and culture, working with over 15 artists across the world. I have collaborated with the former First Lady Michelle Obama in promoting health and education for children and have been a supporter of various charities aiming to improve the lives of children. I recently founded Umaga Art to continue my work on helping children in need through art.
