## Description

I sit in the bathroom at Taco Bell and it reminds me of my confessional
someone sits on the other side
I consider asking them for their sins
instead my sins
evacuate from my esophagus
my insides into the cool water

after I’m done
I cry
apologize
say that I didn’t know what else to do

he says he’s the manager there and it’s all right
I’ve been forgiven

he says my sins are no worse than any others he’s heard in those stalls
And tells me I can come back anytime
and sit in the stall of a fast food bathroom
to find salvation
